Manager of Facilities
and Construction
Salina (KS) Airport
Authority. Key management position responsible for managing
nearly 900,000 square feet of existing manufacturing,
warehouse, hangar and office space at the Salina Municipal
Airport and Airport Industrial Center. Management of
existing facilities is defined as overseeing the maintenance
and development of the facility structures and systems
necessary to insure the Authority’s assets and
infrastructure are well maintained and in compliance with
applicable laws and regulations.
In
addition, this position will participate in the planning and
oversee all new construction and development at the Airport
and Airport Industrial Center. New construction in the
mid-long term could reach over 1 million square
feet.
This
position will oversee airfield construction at an estimated
$11,000,000 over the next five years through the Federal
Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program.
Insuring facilities are in compliance with all environmental
laws and regulations.
This
executive level position will be responsible for managing a
staff of 6 including a facility maintenance team leader.
Starting salary $45,000-$52,000, DOQ, 100% employer paid

Sealed bids will be
received until 2 p.m. CST, May 22, 2008, and then publicly
opened and read at the M.J. Kennedy Air Terminal, Salina
Municipal Airport, 3237 Arnold, Salina, Kansas 67401, for
furnishing all labor, materials and equipment and performing
all work necessary for Shoulder Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of
Taxiway A and connecting Taxiway B.
