John O'Brien

John O’Brien is a native of Silver Lake, and a graduate of Heritage Christian School, of Topeka. O’Brien served 4 1/2 years in the U.S. Air Force, including a tour in Iraq. He is a K-State Salina graduate, completing a bachelor’s degree in aviation maintenance and management. He is an FAA certified airframe and power plant mechanic.

O’Brien is also certified in production and inventory management and is the Buyer/Planner at Geoprobe, a manufacturer of geotechnical, environment, and geothermal drilling machines. He is in his third year at Geoprobe, previously working for six years at Great Plains Manufacturing. O’Brien has past experience serving on the Disciplinary Advisory Board and currently serves as a member of Crosspoint Church Salina – Security and Finance Teams.
